How are your headbands made?
Each Warming the Heart Headband is handmade according to your custom specifications. All aspects of the headband are customizeable, from size to the colors of the flowers we use. In addition, we offer you a choice of stretch lace, stretch knit fabric or ribbon covered headbands.

What shipping options are available?
We ship our products via USPS first class or priority mail. Your shipment should arrive within one to two weeks from the time you place your order. You will receive an email when your order is shipped.

What kind of materials are the bracelets made of?
All the bracelets we sell are designed and made by us. We string all bracelets on Soft Flex 49 or 21 strand nylon coated wire. All of our toggles, clasps and beads are made of Sterling Silver or lead free Pewter components. We use Grade A Fiber Optic Beads and Genuine Swarovski Crystals and Pearls. Although all precautions are used when stringing the bracelets, always supervise a child during use, in case an accident were to happen.

How long will it take to receive my order?
All items are custom made after you place your order and we do our best to fill orders as soon as possible. We know you are anxious to receive your order and we want our products to arrive as soon as possible. Most accessory orders are shipped within 3-5 days from the time they are placed. Name bracelets take about a week to ship. Some custom boutique clothing items as well as diaper bags and totes can take up to 2 weeks to ship, but are noted if it might take that long. If you need something right away or by a specific date, please choose a RUSH shipping option and let us know when you need it by so we can make sure you receive it in time.

How do I take care of my bracelet?
As with all worn jewelry, bracelets are subject to get dirty, especially when worn by babies! We recommend that you use a silver polishing cloth, which we sell for your convenience. We advise against using typical jewelry cleaners as the harshness of the chemicals might dull the crystals and beads.

What is a ribbon covered headband?
A ribbon covered headband is a plastic U-shaped headband which we wrap with grosgrain ribbon. This headband style is perfect for toddlers and girls. It is available in ribbon colors of white, antique white, black or light pink. We recommend this headband for girls age 2+, as they will not fit an infant.

What is a toggle clasp?
A toggle clasp is composed of two pieces: a circle and a bar. The bar goes through the circle to fasten the bracelet. Toggle clasps are great for girls and women because they can be fastened easily with one hand. Warming the Heart can customize almost anything for you. If it is not available as an option, email us to see if it is possible. We want you to be happy with your purchase and want to help you find what you need. We have tons of colors of flowers and crystals to help you design the perfect accessory for that special outfit.

What are the shipping costs?
Warming the Heart charges a flat fee of $5.50 for all orders shipped priority mail or $3.50 for first class orders, regardless of size. We also offer RUSH shipping options which allows your order to be processed immediately and shipped out overnight, 2 day or priority mail so that you can receive it right away.

How does the sizing work on your headbands?
Our sizes fit most children's heads who are of the approximate age group you select. Children can grow faster or slower, so they are not guaranteed to fit a child in that age group. If you want to guarantee something will fit your child, measure their head and send us the measurements so we can customize the headband size to fit them.

How long will the headband fit my child?
The material we use to make the headbands is very stretchy. How long it will fit your child depends on how fast your child's head grows and at what point you decide it is too tight. We have customers who have used their headbands for 12-18 months or more because they still fit their children comfortably.

Can you make a headband all one color?
Of course we can, as long as that color is available in each of the flowers used in the design you want. Almost every headband we make can be designed in an all white, cream or light pink color, as well as many others. Contact us if there is something specific you are looking for and we'd be glad to help you find it.

What is a "grow with me" chain?
A "grow with me" chain is a small chain attached to the end of the bracelet which allows the bracelet to be extended up to 1/2" for a growing wrist. All our infant bracelets come with a "grow with me" chain attached unless you select a toggle clasp. This ensures that you will be able to use the bracelet as your infant continues to grow. See "Amanda" or "Claire" bracelets as examples of the "grow with me" chain.

What is a fiber optic bead?
All the fiber optic beads we use are exquisite and Grade A. Also referred to as "cat's eye", they capture the light and can change hue. They have a band of light that goes around the entire bead, hense the term "cat's eye".

Why do some headbands say they look like a "crown of roses or flowers" on the child's head?
When worn, many of our headbands look like your child is wearing a crown of roses or flowers on their head. This is because the flowers go almost from ear to ear. We do not skimp on the flowers! We want your child to look beautiful, so most headbands have lots of flowers.

How do I measure for a bracelet to make sure I get a perfect fit?
To measure for a bracelet, we recommend that you measure your wrist at the wrist bone. You can use a piece of string to get a good fit. You should add from 1/2" to 1" from that measurement as the bracelet size you need. Bracelets are sized and measured from one end of the clasp to the other end of the clasp, or "end to end". Children's bracelets with the "grow with me" chain are measured from the clasp to the first link of the chain.

I don't feel comfortable placing orders on the internet. Can I place an order by phone?
Yes, we accept orders in several different methods. If you would like to place an order some way other than the internet, there are several ways. You can email us your order and we will contact you for payment information, or you can paypal the total to us at our paypal address (info@warmingtheheart.com). You may also call us at (903) 213-4BOW (4269) to place it over the phone. You may also fax your order to us. We also accept checks if you need to pay by that method. Please contact us for further instructions if you need to pay by check.

What are the laundering instructions for your products?
Christening clothing will come with their own instructions per the manufacturer, so please follow those. We recommend that our beaded socks are washed in a mesh bag in the washing machine and then layed flat to air dry. We do not recommend washing the headbands in a washing machine, or even in a mesh bag. If your headband gets soiled, we recommend spot cleaning them or hand washing them delicately. A baby wipe is a very handy cleaner to get dirt or spots off! Our boutique clothing is made to launder in cold water and air dry. If bows are attached to your outfit, they will be on pinbacks for easy removal to aid in laundering. If you need cleaning instructions for an item not listed, please contact us.
